Elizabeth Moore is the proud owner & director of Smarty Pants Preschool. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education at NMSU, After moving to the Edgewood area, Elizabeth was inspired to open an early childhood center that provided not only child care but an opportunity for little ones in the community, to receive a quality education.Elizabeth has exceeded her aspirations and has been serving the academic needs of young children in the East Mountains for over 10 years. She has given "the gift of wanting to learn" to 100's of previous students as well as a place in "The Smarty Pants Family," always treating the kids as her own.

Cathy Applegate has been with Smarty Pants since 2016 and is a proud mother of 2 Smarty Pants graduates.She has a Bachelor degree in Animal Science from NMSU and an Applied Science degree from the College of Southern Idaho. Cathy enjoys working with children and truly has a passion for teaching in the early childhood educational field.

Kendall Gibson followed her interest in teaching after starting a family and a career change from the medical field. She became enthusiastic about teaching children when she started working at Smarty Pants Preschool in 2016. Kendall has an Associate degree in Early Childhood Multicultural Education with a certificate in Child Development. She is continuing her education online, at WNMU, to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education.
